How does the agent find files that were shared with me?

It opens Drive in your private browser, filters the Shared with me view for the date range you choose, and previews each file to build summaries and a list of sharers. This follows the same Shared with me behavior used in Google Drive’s help pages.

Can the agent move files out of someone else’s shared folder?

No. For files you do not own the agent will add a shortcut to the folder you choose or copy the file where appropriate. Google Drive does not allow changing ownership or moving other users’ files into your My Drive without adding a shortcut.

Is this safe for my Google account and credentials?

You sign into a private Chrome browser that the agent uses; Katteb never sees your password and the agent stops if a site requests multi-factor or password re-entry. Automated activity inside a third-party account can risk restrictions, so we do not guarantee it is undetectable and recommend test runs on non-critical accounts.
