Xero AI Agent that automates unpaid invoices and unreconciled bank transactions
Payments & accounting xero.com
Katteb Agents for Xero read your Xero dashboard and banking screens to produce clear, actionable finance checks for small businesses and bookkeepers. They are built for accounts teams who need weekly lists of unpaid invoices, unreconciled transactions, and a daily cash position snapshot.
What a Xero agent does
The jobs people usually do here by hand. Tap one in the app and it becomes a plan.
- List unpaid invoices and bills due this week.
- Tell me how many bank transactions are still unreconciled.
- Send me a short cash position summary for today.
Anything else you would do in this site by hand can be described in your own words: the planner turns it into a plan you approve before it runs.
What people use it for
List unpaid invoices and bills due this week
Agent logs the Xero Sales and Purchases panels, compiles every outstanding invoice and vendor bill with due dates this week, and returns a single list with invoice numbers, contact names, amounts and due dates so you can prioritise collections and payments.
Count unreconciled bank transactions
Agent opens Xero Banking, checks the reconciliation workspace, and reports how many bank lines remain unreconciled along with the largest unmatched amounts so your bookkeeper can focus on the highest-impact items.
Send a short cash position summary for today
Agent reads your bank balances and short‑term cash flow widgets in Xero, then delivers a concise cash position summary showing current bank balances, expected incoming payments, and near-term bills to pay.
Why it is worth it
- One-click reporting from your live Xero screens, no exports or CSV juggling.
- Reduces time spent opening multiple Xero pages and hunting for numbers.
- Delivers the exact lines and screenshots you need to share with clients or the team.
- Runs on a schedule or on demand and records the browser steps it took.
Questions people ask
How does the Xero Agent access my Xero data?
The Agent works through a private Chrome browser on Katteb’s servers; you sign in once in that browser and the Agent clicks, reads and screenshots like a person. Katteb never sees your password and the Agent stops if a site asks for one.
Will the Agent change anything in Xero?
No. For the listed jobs the Agent reads and reports data and captures screenshots. It does not write to your Xero books unless you explicitly approve a plan that includes posting, and even then it acts through your signed-in browser.
Is automated activity in a third-party account safe?
Automated activity carries a risk of account restriction. The Agent uses normal browser actions but cannot guarantee it is undetectable; do not run writes on accounts with strict access policies without checking with your provider or advisor.
