What a Intercom agent does

The jobs people usually do here by hand. Tap one in the app and it becomes a plan.

  • Open Intercom and list the conversations waiting for a reply, oldest first.
  • Summarise this week's Intercom conversations by topic and the most common questions.
  • Draft replies to the open Intercom conversations I give you and save them as notes.

Anything else you would do in this site by hand can be described in your own words: the planner turns it into a plan you approve before it runs.

What people use it for

List conversations waiting for reply

Open Intercom in a private browser, sort open conversations oldest first, and produce a single list with conversation IDs, contacts, last message times, and linkable screenshots so you know exactly what needs attention.

Weekly conversation summary by topic

Scan this week’s conversations and return topic clusters, the most common questions, and representative example messages. The result is a short report you can paste into your team update or use to adjust canned replies.

Draft replies saved as notes

For any open conversation you provide, draft a reply tailored to the customer and save it as an internal note in Intercom. You keep full control: review, edit, and send from your Intercom account.

Why it is worth it

Questions people ask

How does the Intercom Agent access my account?

You sign into Intercom once inside a private Chrome browser Katteb provides. The agent works through that browser only and stops if a page requests a password or additional verification.

Will the agent send messages for me automatically?

No. The agent can draft replies and save them as internal notes, or produce lists and summaries. Sending replies requires a human to review and click send from your Intercom account.

Are there risks to automating activities inside Intercom?

Yes. Automated activity inside a third-party account may increase the chance of rate limits or restrictions. Katteb reports what it does and charges per run; we do not promise automation is undetectable or risk-free.
